Am Montag wurde das Experiment abgeladen und in gewohnter Manier gereinigt. Bordeaux eingetroffen, sodass der Greifswalder Teil des Teams komplett war. Es stand somit dem traditionellen Besuch im Simeone nichts mehr entgegen und dieser wurde dann auch prompt umgesetzt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gestern fr\u00fch stand direkt das Boarding des Experiments an. Als erstes Experiment dieser Kampagne wurden unsere Racks um kurz nach 9 Uhr in den Flieger geladen. Die Verkabelung ging ebenfalls schnell vonstatten und so hatten wir bereits gegen 11 Uhr die Kammer abgepumpt und das Plasma gez\u00fcndet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery heute standen dann gr\u00f6\u00dftenteils die \u00fcblichen Aufgaben an. Ein paar kleine Besonderheiten gab es dann aber doch. Als erstes wurde eine Kamerakalibrierung durchgef\u00fchrt, um durch Vergleich mit einer vorher im Labor durchgef\u00fchrten Kalibrierung einsch\u00e4tzen zu k\u00f6nnen, wie sehr sich die Vibrationen beim Transport auf die Kameras auswirken. Hier Erfahrungen zu sammeln, ist f\u00fcr COMPACT sehr wertvoll, auch wenn zwei Tage auf der Autobahn vermutlich nicht ganz mit einem Raketenstart vergleichbar sind. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anschlie\u00dfend entschlossen wir uns, die Spiegel der Stereoskopie-Kameras doch noch etwas nachzujustieren, damit die vier Bildfelder m\u00f6glichst gut \u00fcbereinander liegen. Danach musste nat\u00fcrlich eine weitere Kalibrierung erfolgen &#8211; oder besser gesagt zwei, denn wir haben eine neues Kalibriertarget am Start. Hintergrund ist, dass das f\u00fcr COMPACT geplante Kamerasystem, das auch auf der n\u00e4chsten Kampagne getestet werden soll, ein deutlich gr\u00f6\u00dferes Bildfeld abdeckt. Da ist das bisherige Target einfach zu klein. Detail am Rande: Nebenbei hat das neue Target etwas andere Marker, die nun eindeutig und nicht mehr spiegelsymmetrisch sind. Da sich das neue Target bisher noch nicht in der Praxis bew\u00e4hren musste, haben wir parallel sicherheitshalber auch noch Kalibrieraufnahmen mit dem alten Target gemacht.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure Bildsch\u00e4rfe fiel bei der allerersten Kalibrierung recht positiv aus. Daher entschlossen wir uns, auf ein erneutes Scharfstellen m\u00f6glichst zu verzichten. Wir haben also bereits heute (!) die Dispenser f\u00fcr den ersten Flug bef\u00fcllt und eingebaut. Nach dem Abpumpen dann der Moment der Wahrheit: Es wurde ein wenig Staub eingefangen und siehe da &#8211; die Sch\u00e4rfe passte. obligatorische Polsterung angebracht. Gerade werden noch Setpoints f\u00fcr den RF-Generator erstellt, d.h. in einem automatischen Optimierungsprozess werden f\u00fcr verschiedene Dr\u00fccke und Elektrodenabst\u00e4nde die einzustellenden RF-Leistungen und Phasenlagen ermittelt, die am Ende die gew\u00fcnschten Spannungen auf die Elektroden bringen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Man k\u00f6nnte meinen, damit sind wir fast schon in Flugkonfiguration &#8211; am Mittwochnachmittag!
